Meet Pastor Al

Pastor Al is married to Eileen (27 years and counting).

 

He has three daughters - Kristin, Kaitlin and Nicole – two college students and a high school student.

 

Al has been the Senior Pastor of Good News Church since 1999. Al also works with a network of churches that spans the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States.

 

Al’s ministry is characterized by the belief that Jesus calls us (1) to live in loving relationships with other Christ-followers and (2) to constantly make new friends, sharing the love of Jesus with our community in practical ways.

 

Al is an ordained pastor with the Free Methodist Church. He completed his biblical studies through the Free Methodist Church. He holds degrees in Individual and Family Studies and in Pastoral Counseling.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deryl has served as the Associate Pastor of Good News Church since 2003.  He is passionate about prayer, missions, discipleship, and worship.  His life revolves around the Great Commission.  Deryl encourages people to pursue Jesus fervently, surrender to Him, and receive the empowerment of His Holy Spirit to effectively proclaim the Kingdom of God.  

Deryl is an ordained pastor in the Free Methodist Church.  Deryl received the bulk of his ministry training in Youth With A Mission.  He has ministered the gospel in Latvia, Jamaica, India, Canada, Holland, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and across the United States.  Deryl has served on the Board at Youth With A Mission in Lebanon, PA.  He is also frequently invited to preach at other churches.  

Nichole and her husband Shawn welcomed twins Mari and Ryker into their family in early 2009.  Nichole currently stays at home to care for the children and works in the church office on Saturdays.

Nichole has served as the Ministry Assistant of Good News Church since 2008.  With professional experience in sales and marketing, Nichole spends much of her time working on publicity for the many outreach campaigns and events of Good News Church.  Nichole has a broken heart for the lost and a passion for seeing them found in Christ. 

Nichole is originally from Maine where most of her family resides.  She began attending Good News Church with her brother and his family who also live in Mechanicsburg.  Nichole and her family regularly attend Shawn’s home church, River of God Church, in Enola.
